![]() Left to right : Back row : Stanley holding Yuki , Selina, Charles, Front row : Stella, Isabel and Leo The idea of creating a web page for the family started many many years ago. I suppose that I (the webmaster of this page) am a person faster in thought, but slower in action. It is very appropriate to start this job on my special day in the year. I make resolutions on all the special days in the year. For January 1, I make plan for the new year. By the end of January, or early February, I haven't started yet with my plan, then it becomes my Chinese New Year Plan. By, April 1, (guess what !) it becomes my nn-th birthday plan. (To make your reading a bit more exciting, I enbedded some riddles here and there, nn is one of them ! No, current valu for nn will not be provided ! 8> ) As you can see from the picture, with my DH (dear husband) we started humbly in Ottawa in 1974. The additions joined us in 1976 (dragon), 1978 (horse) and 1979 (sheep). They are Stanley, Selina, and Stella. Of course, one cannot forget Leo (English Springer Spanniel) and Yuki (Jack Russell Terrior). My trios are all in universities now. Let them tell their versions of this family unit as they are all important members to it. My DH has his parents in Ottawa, an older brother Peter in Tennesse, and younger sister May-Ann in Ottawa. As for my side, I have two younger brothers Yea-Shiang and Yea-Tai in Singapore and a younger sister Yea-Cheng in San Jose, Carlifonia. (More details will be provided later. Charles like gardening and is a DIY handyman around the house. I like to read, besides playing Go (poooorly), I join a Chinese Choir to let out what is bad for my system and yet do not know how to let it out. Following Stella, I am taking drawing lessons, hoping someday that I can paint something decent. Besides the above, I like to knit and crochet and have taught several friends at work to enjoy the to-be-lost handcraft as an after-work therapy. Once a week, for the past five years, we participate in a taichi-qigong exercise sessions and find it very helpful. There are a lot of other things that I want to do and have no time or resource, or energy to do. If there are 48 hours n a day, then ......... 8)
